Redstack Digital builds and hosts websites for small businesses. This page explains what we collect from you, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Who we are
Redstack Digital is the trade name of Redstack Digital Marketing Services, a web design and hosting business registered with the DTI in the Philippines. You can reach us at contact@redstack-digital.com. We serve clients in the Philippines, the United States and elsewhere.
What we collect
When you browse the site
- Basic technical data every website receives: your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you open.
- Your approximate country, from your IP address, so we can offer you the right regional version of the site and the right currency. We do not store this.
When you contact us
- Your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message or attach to it.
When you create an account or buy a package
- Your email address and a password you choose, or your name, email and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- The answers you give about your business: its name, what it does, where it is, when you want to launch, and the package you picked.
- Payment details are handled by our payment partners, not by us. We receive a record that a payment happened, the amount, and the last part of the payment method. We never see or store full card numbers.
When we build and host your website
- The content you give us for the site: text, photos, logos, business details and anything your own customers send through your site's forms.
How we use it
- To reply to you, build your website, host it, and support you.
- To run your account: signing you in, showing your package, taking payments, sending receipts and renewal reminders.
- To keep the site and the portal safe: blocking spam and abuse, and checking that a form was sent by a person.
- To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of services to run our business. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Vercel hosts this website, the client portal and the sites we build.
- Supabase stores client accounts, the answers from signup, and the record of orders and payments.
- Sanity stores website content and the messages sent through our contact forms.
- Google provides sign-in with Google, if you choose it, the email service we reply from, and the analytics in the client portal.
- PayPal processes payments for clients in the United States and other countries that pay in US dollars.
- Xendit processes payments for clients in the Philippines.
- Cloudflare checks that forms are sent by a person, not a bot.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
Cookies
We use cookies for things the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering the region you chose, remembering a package you picked before you signed up, and remembering that you closed a notice.
In the client portal (my.redstack-digital.com) we also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies, to see which pages are used and where people get stuck when they sign up, pay or onboard. It does not receive your name, email or phone number, and page addresses are sent without the codes in sign-in and payment links. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: until we no longer need them to help you, then they are deleted.
- Account and order records: for as long as you are a client, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Accounts that never complete a purchase are deleted after 14 days.
- If you cancel, your website and its content are kept for 90 days so you can take an export, then deleted.
Your choices
- You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it within a reasonable time.
- You can close your account at any time from the portal or by emailing us.
- You can use your own email and password instead of Google sign-in.
Clients in the Philippines have the rights set out in the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Clients elsewhere have the rights their local law gives them. We honour both.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell account holders by email.
